The Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law is a nonpartisan law and policy institute that seeks to improve systems of democracy and justice in the United States. We are hiring a Junior Accountant to manage all accounting processes for the organization including AR/AP input, GL reconciliation, and month end close. The ideal candidate will combine a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. S/he should be highly organized and detail-oriented and possess the ability to effectively work both independently or in a team setting.
